Location: Cirencester/Hybrid (min 1 day p/wk in Cirencester office)

We’re seeking an analytical and data savvy individual to join our in-house communications team as Data and Systems Analyst.
Your role will be to collate and analyse data to track KPIs and create heatmaps of activity and dashboard reports. You'll pull together data from a number of sources and convert into meaningful reports for audiences within the communications department and beyond.
We're looking for someone with good analytical skills, experience of complex data management, systems experience (excel, databases) and great attention to detail and organisational skills.  

What you’ll be doing:

  • You'll collate data from multiple sources to track KPIs for communication and events activities.
  • Responsible for data projections, working closely with Management Information. 
  • You'll design and prepare regular reports Illustrating performance, including heatmaps of past and projected communication activity for key audiences.
  • Create and take ownership of multiple data projects and management Information to provide accurate targeting/distribution for audience segments. 
  • Review all current data processes to make recommendations for improvements for integrity of data.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Advanced Excel skills (vlook up, pivot tables, formulas, filters etc).
  • Experience of complex data management.
  • Effective communicator at all levels, with the ability to communicate complex technical requirements to other experts and able to translate into layman’s terms.
  • Ability to analyse data. 
  • Methodical and logical with great exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Experience of working with databases (non-excel) would be an advantage 
  • A basic knowledge of Power BI would be helpful but not essential.
