Working in the central Data Quality team, the role holder will be the chief liaison between the Client Data Domain and the transformation of Client Data through the delivery of a Client Book of Record. The creation of a trusted Client data source, fully quality checked and reconciled with source systems Is a key deliverable for the Chief Data Office In 2023 and the role-holder will be Instrumental to Its success through the pro-active management of multiple stakeholders across the enterprise, and business requirement analysis.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide the key interface between the Client Data Domain and Client data transformation activity (Client Book of Record (CBOR))
  • Fully understand and challenge the business requirements relating to CBOR from a Client Data Domain perspective.
  • In close collaboration with the Client Data Owner and Data Steward, support the shaping and delivery of a Client data quality strategy, ensuring that this is aligned to the evolving data quality management framework.
  • Work with the Client Data Steward to define and implement the detailed data quality rules that CBOR will abide by In becoming a trusted data source.
  • Be the chief liaison between the central Data Quality team and the Client Data Domain, providing insight into the nature of Client data quality issues and support for the prioritisation of remedial activity.
  • Work with the corporate data governance team to shape the central data governance framework, and ensure that Client, as a data domain, has an appropriate voice within it.
  • Consider the impact on Client data quality of business changes, regulatory updates, and corporate projects, and deliver actions to manage these effectively.
  • Establish and nurture effective and influential relationships with key stakeholders.       

Who we’re looking for:

  • A data enthusiast, passionate about data accuracy, consistency, validity, integrity, and the value that excellent data delivers to the organisation.
  • A highly competent stakeholder and relationship manager, capable of fostering mutually beneficial relationships across multiple business areas.
  • adept at applying  Data Management and Governance principles In real-life.
  • Have a deep understanding of Client data issues, their impact on business outcomes and potential root causes.
  • Have an excellent working knowledge of data related business processes, particularly those relating to the capture or creation and maintenance of data.
  • Would ideally have practical experience in using a suite of data management and Intelligence tools to measure data quality across a range of dimensions.
  • Have the ability to interpret data and reports about data to identify issues for remediation and prevention
  • Restlessly curious, tenacious and delivery focussed.
