The Departmental Security functions role is to protect the DBT's people, assets, and information from those who wish to damage it. We do this by building a diverse team with expert, generalist, and entry level roles to work together to solve the challenges we face. This mix allows us to develop talent and to benefit from a wide range of life experiences. This role sits within the Departmental Security's Information Assurance (IA) Hub.
The IA Hub is a function providing stakeholders with a data-led view of DBTs information risk exposure. It achieves this through securing the relevant data points from key control processes across DBT in combination with HMG and open-source intelligence to support in providing consumable reporting products to key stakeholders.
This role will support the Head of the IA Hub with Key Risk Indicator (KRI) management and is responsible for analysing risk data which is pulled in from 2nd Line of Defence (LoD)* functional areas.
*The 2nd LoD are policy and compliance owners who provide advice, guidance and support the first line. They provide oversight to supporting and challenging management activity whilst monitoring risks.
