Location: Cirencester Head Office/Hybrid
We are looking for someone who is highly technical and analytical, who is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, has a professional and diplomatic approach to work and is able to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders.
Infrastructure Senior Engineers play a critical role in the success of providing our community with a performant, reliable platform and are called upon to design and support the right solutions for the business needs. Beyond providing high standards of service and general support, they must effectively work in a consultative role for each project to make recommendations on the appropriate solution, to improve performance of the platform and to plan proactively for both internal and user driven changes and growth. The role requires a high degree of self-management, proactivity and positivity with regard to delivering internal objectives, take personal accountability, strong communication and technology acumen. Continual knowledge transfer, training and mentoring of less knowledgeable staff is expected.
As a senior engineer, a higher level of technical knowledge is required, with need to keep up to date on new tools and techniques, future technical roadmap recommendations and deputising for your manager.
