Job Description

Location: Cirencester/Hybrid

The main purpose of this role is to support the Private Client Advice Team with the day-to-day activities that are required for us to deliver a first-class service to our Partners, primarily through workflow management, case allocation, assistance with advice proposals and supporting Partners and team members around the preparation of documentation and submission of business.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Draft bespoke client facing advice proposals
  • Prepare trust documentation and assist the Partners and team members with the submission of business
  • Provide management information, extracting this from our CRM system and spreadsheets
  • Produce investment performance data using spreadsheet and analytic tools
  • Produce illustrations using existing systems and tools
  • Update Peer Review spreadsheet and files
  • Deal with ad-hoc MI requests as required
  • Act as a point of contact within the team for drafting of advice proposals
  • Undertake and manage projects to support existing Private Client business such as IHT 100 reporting requirements

Who we’re looking for:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Good analytical skills and ability to interpret data to create meaningful charts and MI
  • Exhibit 'investigative thinking’ when presented with a situation where the solution isn’t immediately obvious
  • Good attention to detail 
  • Excellent inter‐personal skills, both written and verbal
  • Have an understanding of the high net worth market space and appreciate the importance of exercising discretion and operating confidentially
  • Able to develop and maintain good working relationships – both internally and externally - to provide an efficient and effective service
  • Proactive and flexible in approach to work and pragmatic in decision making
  • The job holder will, after training, require a good working knowledge of our CRM system and the range of product solutions offered by St. James’s Place, in order to identify potential errors and anomalies in MI reporting. They will be required to support the MI reporting cycles, data input & case management, and processes required to produce reports. 

Special Requirements:

  • Experience: Experience within a financial services role with current knowledge of financial services and financial planning is desirable
