We’re delighted to be recruiting for an exciting new opportunity within our well-respected, in-house Early in Careers (EiC) team. Here at SJP we pride ourselves on our ability to attract a high calibre, diverse and engaged range of candidates to help meet our ambitious organisational growth plans.

To support this, you’ll play a pivotal role in contributing to the design & management of EiC attraction campaigns through effective partnerships with universities, colleges and schools to promote our range of opportunities. You’ll utilise a range of digital and social media channels to create and maintain content for the wider external market, promoting SJP as a destination of choice for potential EiC candidates.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll have responsibility for raising awareness of SJP EiC programmes within the external market to attract a diverse candidate audience.
  • Design & manage attraction campaigns through engagement with universities, schools, 6th forms and diversity partnerships to create a pipeline of talent into all EiC programmes.
  • Lead and manage recruitment campaigns for EiC programmes, responsible for creation of job adverts and management of recruitment processes against each programme timeline.
  • Create and maintain engaging content for digital channels across careers websites and social media.
  • Manage an EiC alumni network to support attraction.
  • Manage diversity partner relationships and review annually in collaboration with the Responsible Business (RB) team.
  • Act as key point of contact for our EiC recruitment partner Penna, working with Penna to build application forms, provide oversight of applications, benchmarking, reviewing final candidate selection and progression to Assessment Centres.
  • Management of Assessment Centres for all programmes, including systems, candidate and assessor management.
  • Effective candidate management from start to finish, with a focus on delivering an exceptional candidate experience to every applicant at every stage of the process.
  • Proactively manage all stakeholders involved in the recruitment process (Internal and external stakeholders, i.e., hiring managers, candidates, and third-party partners).
  • Manage and schedule final stage interviews for candidates and hiring managers, together with creation of interview question packs.

 

Who we’re looking for:

  • You’ll have a strong understanding of the Early in Careers (EiC) market and experience of working with universities, colleges and schools to promote opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of each step of EiC recruitment from advert to offer stage.
  • Experience in using a range of assessment tools utilised across multiple business functions.
  • Strong experience in hosting and running Assessment Centres.
  • Confident and highly experienced in dealing with decline and feedback calls.
  • You’ll have the desire to work hard to promote our EiC programmes through a strong EVP that stands out to the audience. 
  • The ability to develop an in-depth knowledge of all SJP Early in Career programmes. and how they impact each Business Area of the organisation.
  • Experience of using applicant tracking systems.
  • You'll take a proactive approach to facing into problems, have the ability to think on your feet and know when to escalate.
  • A collaborative in approach Is essential, with the ability to build long term and strong relationships with stakeholders, influencing the business to think differently about the approach to EiC recruits at SJP.
