The post-holder will be an integral part of the Stakeholder Engagement team within the Commercial and Procurement Directorate.
Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement Manager, the Stakeholder Engagement Officer will produce communication issued for procurement related activity across the Welsh Government. This includes external and internal communications such as the production of bilingual newsletters, stakeholder publications, internet and intranet pages, e-bulletins, social media content, films, and events.
The post holder will have a broad responsibility for delivering key aspects of a wider Communications plan to improve stakeholder Engagement and Customer service.
The role will involve working to tight deadlines and some travel around Wales.
The post offers a high-profile opportunity to provide communications support across the Commercial Procurement Directorate. This is a demanding and rewarding role in an area where successful communication skills and stakeholder engagement is essential.
The post also provides the opportunity to work with many different individuals and bodies across Wales, while also gaining an understanding of how the Welsh Government operates.
