Our Company's Commitment and Culture

Working here is rewarding because you're not just doing a job, you're making a genuine positive difference to people when they need it most. Our colleagues help transform the lives of those struggling with debt.

You could be working here as a debt advisor in our busy contact centres across the UK; or you could be working behind the scenes playing a vital part in the smooth running of the charity, for example in Tech Services, Marketing, Human Resources or Finance.

Your development at the charity.

We place a huge emphasis on supporting, developing, and rewarding you throughout your career with us, making sure you have everything you need to help us continue our life-changing work.

Your induction.

Every new starter has a two-day induction to welcome you to the charity. You'll learn about how we work, what we value, what systems we use, and how your role fits into the charity. If you're working in a specialist role, you'll then go to meet your team. If you're working in a client-facing role, you'll join one of our training academies.

Your training.

Exclusively for client -facing colleagues, our training academies are full-time courses accredited by the Money Advice Service and will provide you with the right skills and knowledge to help our clients, with the support of one of our dedicated trainers and a team of expert coaches. It takes up to eight weeks to complete depending on your role.

Your development.

You'll have access to a wide range of development opportunities so you can continue to learn, develop, and progress, including:

-Regular 1 to 1 meetings with your line manager

-An individual development plan

-Face-to-face training to enhance your skills

-E-learning courses and development programmes

-An assisted study programme for external courses

We're always looking to increase the diversity of our workforce to ensure we can provide the best service possible for everyone.
