Can I only employ candidates from the country my company is in?
This depends on the type of job being recruited for.
For some opportunities, you may be able to recruit candidates internationally. However, it’s your responsibility to ensure that you’re complying with employment regulations.
For example, if you’re recruiting a UK employee, the candidate must have the right to work where your company is based. This is why we ask all applicants to answer this as a compulsory screening question.
