Job Description

Have you finished school or college? Not sure about going to university? Thinking about a professional career in technology but not sure where to start?

Join Accenture's 5-day Technology Social Impact Week! This experience has been designed to give you industry work experience, enhance your employability skills and enable you to be more confident and prepared for the working world.

During the week, you will:

  • Gain a valuable insight into Accenture, including how we use new technologies and innovate, creating value and making a difference for our clients
  • Work collaboratively on a real-life tech challenge with the support of mentors guiding you through workshops
  • Build your employability and confidence by developing your skills, through our series of workshops

What’s in it for you

In addition to the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and develop your skills, if you are a good fit for Accenture, you can get fast-tracked to an assessment centre for our London Technology Degree Apprenticeship.

The London Technology Apprenticeship offers a perfect blend of training, mentorship and a head start to a career in Technology. You’ll spend three years studying towards a BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions, whilst gaining invaluable work experience.

A completion certificate will also be issued to participants who have completed the full week.

What we’re looking for:

Tech Social Impact Week will take place between Monday 30th January to Friday 3rd February, from 9am – 5.30pm each day. You will need to be available for the full duration of this programme and be able to travel to our London office in Fenchurch Street for the first and last day of the week.  Travel expenses will also be covered for required office days.

The remainder of the programme will take place virtually, and if required you can be provided with a laptop and internet dongle for use from home.

To be eligible for the programme you will:

  • Have 80 ‘A’ Level UCAS points or an equivalent Level 3 qualification
  • Currently not be in education, employment, or training
  • Have a real curiosity about technology, no prior technical experience is required

How to apply

Applications will close Sunday 15th January 2023. After your initial application, Accenture will invite you to complete an online assessment, and if successful the final stage of this process will be a telephone interview. Accenture receives an extremely high volume of applications for all programmes, and it is sometimes necessary to close applications earlier than anticipated. We would recommend early application to avoid disappointment.
