We are seeking an organised and proactive Research Assistant to join our Digital Proposition and Engagement Division. The Digital Research Assistant will help Design Teams, Product Owners and Stakeholders understand the motivations, goals and needs of our customers.
As well as coordinating and supporting research activities, the role includes developing and maintaining SJP’s research library, surfacing relevant insights and identifying trends for story-telling.

What you’ll be doing:
- Scheduling and supporting research activities such as surveys, workshops, user interviews and testing sessions
- Uploading, analysing and categorising data from research activities
- Publishing reports and blog posts, summarising the findings and implications of researches
- Maintaining quality standards to preserve the integrity of research data and findings, across our research community of practice
- Handling the commercial aspects of our research services and platforms, including budgeting and liaising with suppliers
- Turning Research data into clear findings that guide decisions
Who are we looking for?
- Good understanding and experience of user research, including the tools and techniques used.
- Demonstrates knowledge of the technologies used to build and operate digital services. Understands the different technical roles in a multidisciplinary team.
- Understands organisational strategy and objectives at a working level, enabling alignment research activities.
- Proficient ability of analysis, judgement and decision making, to include an understanding of processes involved in participant recruitment and synthesis of research activity.
- Strong communications skills and experience communicating to internals and external team members.
