This is an exciting opportunity for a creative, strategic and proactive internal campaign manager in the Ministry of Housing Communities and Local Government communications directorate. This role is a chance to make a real impact during a pivotal period, with a focus on launching and communicating high-profile strategies and the business plan.
You will create innovative, engaging and lively ‘campaign’ content - especially digital and video - that brings our story to life, provide strategic communications advice, and collaborate closely with senior management and MHCLG Communication teams. You will be experienced in creating impactful and modern digital communications content strategies and plans. You will also have hands on experience of helping to promote staff and team stories, including devising, producing and editing outstanding video content.

Stage 1: Sift (CV & Cover Letter)
Please submit a CV and a covering letter of no more than one page. Your covering letter should explain:
A. Why you are interested in the role and what attracts you to working in internal communications.
B. How your skills, knowledge and experience meet the essential criteria outlined in the job description.
C. Examples of communications activity you have delivered that demonstrate your ability to develop and implement effective communication strategies, engage diverse audiences and evaluate impact. We encourage candidates to provide specific examples that demonstrate the outcomes they achieved and the contribution they made.
Stage 2: Interview
Candidates will be asked to prepare a 5-minute presentation, further details will be provided on invitation to interview.

Interviews are currently being held remotely via videocall. This could be subject to change.
