Location: This role is in our Head Office in Cirencester. SJP supports hybrid working with an expectation of working 40% of your time in our offices.

The Role: The primary objective of this role is the provision of business analysis into business projects to include development and enhancements of systems and processes, which satisfy user requirements, to required standards of quality, within agreed budgets and timescales.

Who we are looking for: Someone who enjoys interacting with stakeholders daily with outstanding written and verbal communication skills. You will be able to build strong and lasting relationships, whilst performing in a large team with a variety of projects and initiatives for our Employees, Partners, and Clients. You will have strong analytical skills and be proficient in applying techniques to aid in investigation, analysis, and modelling. You will have a natural ability to challenge and communicate with confidence across all levels of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Producing the appropriate artifacts required by the project.
• Communicating and reporting effectively within the programme and to the wider Business Analysis practice.
• Demonstrating accurate behaviours of a Senior Business Analyst and acting as a role model for the Business Analysis practice.
• Where appropriate, support the growth and development of our Business Analysis Community. This could include responsibilities such as guidance, sharing ideas and examples of existing practices and encourage their adoption.
• Where appropriate coordinate the work of other Business Analyst’s within the programme or project. Delegating and taking ownership of tasks and being accountable for the work produced. Being able to give and receive constructive feedback.
• Where appropriate, ensuring the quality of the work produced by other Business Analyst’s meets the required standards. Ensuring Programme results are met within agreed timescales.
• Working effectively with the senior project team and stakeholders, conducting investigations, planning, and be instrumental in the success of the project.
• Take responsibility for the management of collaborator relationships across various levels of seniority. Ensure that stakeholder perspectives are identified and analysed with a view to achieving consensus.

Special Requirements:

• An excellent understanding of different development approaches such as Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Demonstrable experience of operating in a Portfolio and Value Stream environment is preferred
• An accreditation (full or partial) with the BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis will also hold a distinct advantage.
