We're seeking a Management Information Consultant to play a pivotal role in generating high quality reports and insights that drive strategic decisions at every level of our organisation.

You'll play a key role in the production of regular MI reports and to support, develop and expand the reporting for SJP as the needs of the business evolve,

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop and produce regular management information reports, adapting to evolving business needs.
  • Review existing reports for relevance and efficiency, using new software for smart working practices.
  • Act as the gatekeeper for data integrity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
  • Provide operational support and guidance to directors and senior management.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of SJP's data sources and architecture to ensure consistent and accurate reporting.
  • Undertake project work and ad hoc requests, managing time effectively to meet departmental responsibilities.

Who we're looking for:

  • Proficiency in Business Information (BI) software and systems, including Excel, Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services and Snowflake
  • Strong SQL skills and experience in data modelling with PowerQuery, DAX, and M.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI administration.
  • Ability to communicate data effectively for impact, crafting reports and dashboards for various devices.
  • Understanding of ethics and legal considerations in data and analytics.
  • Knowledge of other BI software such as Tableau or Business Objects is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on accuracy and data interpretation.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal partners, including senior management.
